By 1917 most milk was pasteurized to avoid the spread of milk-born diseases. Early glass bottles were sealed with a wire clamped top, then later, waxed paper lids and milk bottle caps. These were collected by my dad in the 1940s, who helped with milk deliveries in trade for bottle caps.
Each card contains four milk bottle caps with a strong magnet backing, perfect for sticking to your refrigerator. The letterpress printed card cover says "MILK every moment" and opens to reveal the magnets with an explanation of the history behind them. There are THREE different sets, so see all the photos (Buttermilk, April's Hygenic, Hayward Farms) to choose your set.
